This follows the paperback of volume one which was released in February 2021. The issuing of this book completes the long cycle of getting a historical biography of Henry III in print for the series - a task which Professor Carpenter undertook in the 1980s and included the associated book ‘The Minority of Henry III’ which was published by Methuen in 1990, although not as part of the series.
