In a new podcast appearance this week the author of Yale’s new biography of Oliver Cromwell, Professor Ronald Hutton, has mentioned that this study will now stretch to a third volume. In the podcast he talks about his love of writing and his subject - a flavour which is apparent in the text of the first volume. It’s too early to discover the dates of the second and third Cromwell volumes. Readers of the first volume will be looking forward to them eagerly.
