Those of you in or near London in the next two weeks have an opportunity to see the Thomas Becket exhibition at the British Museum. This exhibition, called ‘Thomas Becket: the Murder and the making of a Saint’ runs until 22 August. It has been open since 20 May and is in its final weeks. The Museum’s shop does not offer the 1986 Methuen biography of Becket by English Monarchs author Frank Barlow but it is selling the 2012 biography by John Guy, also an academic. The paperback of Barlow’s book is still in print and available for order in the University of California version, or in hardback from used book vendors.
