Richard III exhibition in London
Monday, 29 August 2022
The Wallace Collection, at Manchester Square in London, opens its Richard III exhibition next week on 7 September. The webpage for the exhibition says that “This free display traces the story of how key objects and staff at the Wallace Collection have influenced the way we imagine Richard III today, and how he has been portrayed in cinema for nearly a century”. The mendion of cinema is important because the collection assisted in the making of the new film ‘The Lost King’, a portrayal of the finding of Richard’s remains ten years ago. The film opens soon, but has been accused of straying from the facts to suit the drama. See the exhibition’s website here.
