"Women in Intelligence: The Hidden History of Two World Wars, by Helen Fry is released this month and describes in detail the contribution made by women in Britain’s war effort, and the intelligence area in particular. Bletchley Park is now well known, and this new book expands on that knowledge to encompass spy networks, work in Witehall, plus work by both uniformed women and civilians.
